Towing Chain v 1.1
With this mod you can pull vehicles by towing chain.
-attach the red end to the tractor with key Q
-then attach the second end to the pulled vehicle with key X
-you can attach towing chain to itself (can be used for transport)
-you can take towing chain to hands and manual attach it outside the vehicle
-you can turn on pulled vehicle’s throttle if necessary
Controls:
-attach / detach towing chain to vehicle – key_x
-attach / detach towing chain to itself – key_x (when no vehicle is in range)
-activate / deactivate manual attaching – key_y
-turn on / off pulled vehicle’s throttle – key_b

For some reason when using this mod it will freeze the game when you are walking against a vehicle or an attachment like a seeder. it has something to do with the range you are able to use the Tow chain. I use this mod on a server with 4 people but only the person who walks against a machine is crashing.

Plz fix its very laggy
Cool little mod however, I had a good bit of trouble getting it attached to a tractor in the first place. It was too low to register for the “Q” key prompt. So I had to drive at it full speed then brake really hard to lower the front of my tractor then hit Q really quickly. I suppose I could have picked it up with a wheel loader or something, but it seemed unnecessary. I also couldn’t pick it up in game (while walking around) so that didn’t help. Admittedly I was trying to attach it to a very large tractor. But still, is there any way you can spawn in higher or on a box or something?
Also, I THINK when you’re towing something if you’re facing opposite ways the “turn vehicle throttle on” thing doesn’t work right. To me it seems that the wheels of the towed vehicle spin in the same way you are going. So if your tractor is facing a stuck vehicle and is trying to back it out, the stuck vehicle’s tires will also turn in reverse, therefore negating anything you’re doing. I THINK… I haven’t tested this fully.
Anyway, great little mod. Great for realism.
